Typical Results of Thermiva

Each session of Thermiva typically produces progressively more results and at greater comfort level for the patient at each session. Thus, this is why most patients elect a package of three sessions.

 

Early benefits are improved skin tone or ‘pinkness’, decreased dark spots or discoloration. ‘Early responders’ can see this as early as several days after initial treatment. Greater sensitivity and sexual responsiveness, improved wetness, also are earlier treatment results after a few days or few weeks for many women.

 

Remodeling of collagen is a natural process that takes 30-90 days and can continue to improve beyond this. Vagina tightening and a tighter outside appearance for ‘looseness’ or laxity, for this reason requires a few weeks or months for many women. Thus, improvement of incontinence or bladder leaking often occurs in a similar time frame, as structures may tighten around the urethra.

 

There is also an early treatment effect of vagina tightening we often note however for some women. This may be due to factors such as the body responding to treatment by increased blood supply to the skin, as collagen remodeling kicks in for continued benefit.

 

There are ‘early responders’ (few days to weeks) and ‘late responders’ (weeks to months) for any type of result. Many women continue to experience various benefits from days to months following Thermiva treatments.

There are certainly no rules, but a pattern of results if often as follows:
